My name is Maimoona Batool and I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a Registered Nurse. With over a decade of experience in the healthcare field, I am dedicated to helping people heal and thrive. My approach to psychotherapy is grounded in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a safe and non-judgmental space. I have worked in both hospital and private settings, utilizing various psychotherapeutic modalities to find what works best for each individual.

My education and extensive training in trauma-focused psychotherapy, anxiety disorders, depression, advanced grief counseling, and management of aggressive behavior has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to tailor my approach to meet the specific needs and preferences of each client. I incorporate a range of evidence-based modalities in my practice such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Rogerian Person-Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy to name a few.
