Alexandra Toste

Therapist.

BA.Sc. MACP (Candidate)

I understand how heavy life can feel at times, and you deserve a space where your experiences are met with compassion, care, and genuine understanding. My goal is to offer a grounded, supportive environment where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment or pressure. Together, we create a therapeutic space that feels steady, safe, and centered on your needs.

I offer a client-centered, compassionate approach to therapy, working with individuals experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, relationship challenges, neurodivergence-related concerns, and the emotional weight that comes with major transitions or periods of overwhelm. Whether you're navigating long-standing struggles or more recent challenges, we move at a pace that feels comfortable and empowering for you.

In our work, we’ll explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns with curiosity and openness. Rather than rushing toward quick fixes, we take time to understand your inner world—your coping strategies, your emotional landscape, and the experiences that have shaped you. This process can help you gain clarity, reconnect with your strengths, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change.

I currently work with individuals aged 10 and up, including youth, teens, and adults. My approach is rooted in cultural awareness and deep respect for each client’s unique identity. I tailor each session to reflect your values, your lived experiences, and your personal strengths. I incorporate practices that honour diversity, inclusion, and the many ways people navigate the world, ensuring that therapy feels relevant and supportive of who you are.

You don’t have to carry everything alone. I’m here to walk alongside you with warmth, patience, and understanding as you explore what matters most and take steps toward a more grounded, connected, and fulfilling life
