Hi, I’m Shak, and I am passionate about helping individuals navigate the complexities of mental health, particularly within the workplace. With a focus on workplace mental health challenges such as stress, burnout, and maintaining balance, I bring both personal and professional insights to our sessions. My therapeutic approach combines person-centered and solution-focused therapy, ensuring that your unique experiences and challenges are met with empathy and tailored strategies.
Having faced my own mental health challenges, I understand how overwhelming life can feel, especially in demanding environments. My goal is to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where we can collaboratively explore your concerns and uncover solutions that work for you. I hold a deep respect for your worldviews and belief systems, and any exploration of these during our sessions is approached with care and aimed at fostering growth and understanding.
Before transitioning to mental health advocacy and support, I spent 15 years in the corporate world and 5 years running my own accounting advisory practice. This background has given me firsthand insight into the pressures of high-stakes environments and the toll they can take on mental well-being.
If you’re ready to take the first step toward prioritizing your mental health, schedule an initial consultation with me. Together, we can explore your challenges and find pathways to a healthier, more balanced life.
