BASc., BEd. MACP (Candidate)
Yollanda offers warm, culturally attuned therapy for people shaped by family expectations, cultural pressure, and intergenerational patterns. She works with parents, teens, and young adults, particularly those from racialized or immigrant communities, who are navigating identity, perfectionism, burnout, and life transitions.
Her integrative approach draws from Narrative Therapy, Compassionate Inquiry®, Compassion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, and sound meditation. Her work is trauma-aware and focused on helping clients build self-compassion, understand patterns, and create meaningful change.
Yollanda is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a background in engineering, education, and leadership coaching. She is also a keynote speaker and author of Dear Younger Me, a forthcoming book on intergenerational healing.
