Angela Curro

Intern Therapist.
BA,  MACP (Candidate)

Feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to start is something that many people experience, and it does not have to be faced alone.

I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where we can gently explore what has been coming up and begin working toward meaningful change together. My goal is to create an environment where you feel safe, understood, and supported as you move through what feels difficult.

I am currently completing my M.A. in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University, and my academic background includes an Honours B.A. in Psychology and Education, along with a post-graduate certificate in Mental Health and Addictions. I draw from Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centered approaches, and have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in community-based settings. My work has included supporting those facing crisis, trauma, significant life stressors, and other mental health challenges, which continues to shape my trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and holistic approach.

Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, ADHD, navigating major life changes, or facing other difficulties, we work together to develop practical strategies for healing and growth. Each session is tailored to your strengths, needs, and lived experience, with space to explore thoughts, emotions, and patterns in a way that feels manageable and meaningful.

I value self-awareness and mindfulness as part of the healing process and often integrate these practices to support greater clarity, resilience, and connection to inner strengths. At the core of my work is the belief that healing is supported through feeling grounded and not alone in what feels difficult, and I work with you to create a space that reflects that.
